Studies have found that the absence of play experience in childhood correlates directly with loss of social skills. So, at Bodhi Casa play is serious business, and that’s why the men can often be found at the skate park that’s just a few blocks away. With the Skateboarding culture being what it is in Southern California, we are even able to take the men to a Saturday morning 12 step meeting where they can share their passion not only for their recovery, but skating as well.
